General Information & FAQ's

There is a 5% credit card processing fee for all online credit card payments.

Scholarships will be awarded to dancers for various reasons including class performance, excelling at a particular genre, focus, attitude, talent, drive, sportsmanship, etc.   ​These awards are FLEUR-Tuition Based Scholarships, where recipients are able to return to any city during the next season’s tour on a FULL or HALF Tuition-Based Scholarship.  Presentation of any and/or all awards, are at the discretion of the faculty. The faculty will determine what scholarships, including how many scholarships, are given at each FLEUR event.

The host venue and FLEUR Dance Convention are not responsible for any lost personal items or injuries.  ​If a participant of FLEUR Dance Convention is in need of first aid, please see a FLEUR Staff member at the registration desk.  ​Please make sure all personal items are against the perimeter of the studio at all times to avoid injury.

The Rebate Program is only allowed for Studio registrations.  Independent entries are not eligible.  Studios must have a minimum of 20 attending dancers to qualify for the rebate. Additionally, Full Payment must be received by the “REGULAR TUITION” deadline associated with the city stop, in order to qualify for rebate.  If your studio qualifies for our Rebate Program, you will receive 10% Rebate check made payable to the studio, onsite at the event.

FLEUR expects a certain level of respect and conduct to be followed by dancers at all events. We reserve the right to refuse admittance or ask anyone with unacceptable behavior to leave.  This is a professional forum for education and it should be treated and respected by all in attendance. Our faculty is here to work with the dancers and inspire them. While faculty is subject to change AND NEVER GUARANTEED FOR ANY SPECIFIC CITY, we will always provide a high level of education by OUR STAFF IN ATTENDANCE.  
This is a day that will be fun and enjoyable, not stressful. We expect all to keep a positive and uplifting environment for the dancers to be able to create, learn AND INSPIRE.  IF YOU DISRUPT THAT, YOU WILL LEAVE.

FLEUR  takes pride in offering attendees a space where they are free to explore their passion for dance in the most nurturing and supportive environment possible.  At FLEUR one-day events: ​Parents/Legal Guardians of registered dancers are allowed into the workshop classes if they have purchased an Observer wristband either in advanced through their independent and/or studios registration and/or onsite before the start of the event.  Observer wristbands are NON-REFUNDABLE. No exceptions.​

There is no reserving seats at any time.   ​FLEUR reserves the right to revoke any Observer privileges.  Observers 10 years and under are free, as long as they are accompanied by a paid Observer.

​

​No flash photography is allowed during class. Video may be taken during the class AS LONG AS IT DOES NOT INTERRUPT CLASS AND IS TAKEN OUTSIDE OF THE DANCE SPACE.

All registrations and payments received are non-refundable; there are absolutely no exceptions to this policy – unless the event is physically cancelled by FLEUR.  To be clear, all sales are final and NO REFUNDS will be authorized unless a Purchase Protection/Refundable Pass Add-On is purchase during registration.  Purchase Protection/Refundable Pass Add-Ons cannot be added after initial registration & payment are made.  ​By making/authorizing payment, you both accept and agree to the terms and conditions as outlined below and during the registration process.

​1. Guardian Approval - By completing registration, I certify that I am the parent/legal guardian of the participant (if under 18) and approve of this transaction and participation.

​

2. Cancellation by FLEUR - FLEUR reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances that would make the event non-viable.  If FLEUR cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund.  Refund will be issued on the same platform used for payment.

​

3. Registration Cancellation by Participant - All sales are non-transferable to other individuals or future FLEUR events.  Refunds are handled exclusively through Purchase Protection/Refundable Pass if added at the time of purchase.  Refundable passes cannot be purchased after initial event registration.  If FLEUR cancels the event, all purchases will be refunded in full.

4. Non-refundable Registration Passes -  If Purchase Protection/Refundable Pass is not added, Registration is non-refundable.  All sales are non-transferable to other individuals or future FLEUR events.   If an event is rescheduled, all registrations will be honored for the new event date.  If FLEUR cancels the event, all purchases will be refunded in full.

5. Event Conduct & Participation - FLEUR reserves the right to remove or deny participation to any attendee for unsafe behavior, failure to follow event rules, pr conduct deemed disruptive or inappropriate.  No refunds will be issued if removal occurs due to conduct violations.

6. Media Consent - By registering for a FLEUR event, I consent to myself (if over 18) and/or my child (if participant is under 18) being photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded during the event.  I agree that such media may be used for educational, promotional, or public relations purposes by FLEUR.

7. Multi-State Events & Governing Law - FLEUR is a Florida-based company hosting events in multiple states.  These Terms & Conditions shall be goverened by the laws of the State of Florida.  However, for any incident, claim, or dispute arising from participation in a specific event, the laws of the state in which the event is held shall also apply where required.

8. Acknowledgement - By completing registration and signing below, I certify that (1) I have read and understand these Terms & Conditions. (2) I agree to all policies stated above. (3) I am the legal guardian signing on behalf of the participant if under 18. (The Participation Waiver & Release of Liability also applies).​

1. Certification of Physical Fitness to Participate - I understand that participations in any sport, including dancing at FLEUR events, carries inherent risks of injury, including but not limited to serious permanent injury, paralysis, and death.  I voluntarily and knowingly assume all such risks (if over 18) and/or on behalf of my child (if participant is under 18).  To minimize risk of injury, I agree to obey and/or instruct my child to obey all safety rules and report any physical problems to event staff immediately.

2. Acknowledgement of Participation- By signing this waiver, I certify that (1) Myself (if over 18) and/or my child (if participant is under 18) is not currently under the care of a physician for any injury or illness that would prevent safe participation. (2) Myself and/or my child is not currently being treated for or recovering from any orthopedic injury that would prevent safe participation. (3) Myself and/or my child is in good health and able to safely participate in strenuous physical activity. (4) I will provide my and/or my child's health insurance provider and policy number upon request. (5) Legal Guardian must sign if participant is under 18.

3. Release of Liability - In consideration of my and/or my child's (if participant is under 18) participation in a FLEUR event, I agree that (1) I am responsible for all costs associated with any injury of loss that myself and/or my child may sustain while participating in the event.  (2) I certify that I carry health insurance that provides adequate coverage for any injuries or illnesses sustained during the event.  (3) By signing below, I voluntarily and knowing release, discharge, and agree to hold harmless FLEUR Dance Convention, its owners, employees, agents, contractors, staff, venues, and affiliates, from any and all claims, demands, damages, or liabilities, including claims arising from ordinary negligence, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.  (4) This release applies to all claims of injury or damages except those resulting from gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

4. Indemnity Clause - I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FLEUR Dance Convention and its employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any an all claims, liabilities, damages losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fee(s) arising out of or related to my and/or my child (if participant is under 18) participation in a FLEUR event, including claims brought by my, my child, or any third party.

5. Medical Treatment Authorization - I give permission for FLEUR and its employees to seek and obtain medical treatment for my and/or my child (if participant is under 18) in the event of an accident or illness during the event.  I accept responsibility for any resulting medical expenses.

6. Multi-State Governing Law - This waiver shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.  However, any incident or claim arising from participation at a specific event shall also be subject to the laws of the state in which the event takes place.  I agree to submit jurisdiction in Florida or the state where the event occurs.

7.
