Refund Policy
All registrations and payments received are non-refundable; there are absolutely no exceptions to this policy – unless the event is physically cancelled by FLEUR. To be clear, all sales are final and NO REFUNDS will be authorized unless a Purchase Protection/Refundable Pass Add-On is purchase during registration. Purchase Protection/Refundable Pass Add-Ons cannot be added after initial registration & payment are made. By making/authorizing payment, you both accept and agree to the terms and conditions as outlined below and during the registration process.
Participant Waiver & Release of Liability
1. Certification of Physical Fitness to Participate - I understand that participations in any sport, including dancing at FLEUR events, carries inherent risks of injury, including but not limited to serious permanent injury, paralysis, and death. I voluntarily and knowingly assume all such risks (if over 18) and/or on behalf of my child (if participant is under 18). To minimize risk of injury, I agree to obey and/or instruct my child to obey all safety rules and report any physical problems to event staff immediately.
2. Acknowledgement of Participation- By signing this waiver, I certify that (1) Myself (if over 18) and/or my child (if participant is under 18) is not currently under the care of a physician for any injury or illness that would prevent safe participation. (2) Myself and/or my child is not currently being treated for or recovering from any orthopedic injury that would prevent safe participation. (3) Myself and/or my child is in good health and able to safely participate in strenuous physical activity. (4) I will provide my and/or my child's health insurance provider and policy number upon request. (5) Legal Guardian must sign if participant is under 18.
3. Release of Liability - In consideration of my and/or my child's (if participant is under 18) participation in a FLEUR event, I agree that (1) I am responsible for all costs associated with any injury of loss that myself and/or my child may sustain while participating in the event. (2) I certify that I carry health insurance that provides adequate coverage for any injuries or illnesses sustained during the event. (3) By signing below, I voluntarily and knowing release, discharge, and agree to hold harmless FLEUR Dance Convention, its owners, employees, agents, contractors, staff, venues, and affiliates, from any and all claims, demands, damages, or liabilities, including claims arising from ordinary negligence, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct. (4) This release applies to all claims of injury or damages except those resulting from gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
4. Indemnity Clause - I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FLEUR Dance Convention and its employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any an all claims, liabilities, damages losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fee(s) arising out of or related to my and/or my child (if participant is under 18) participation in a FLEUR event, including claims brought by my, my child, or any third party.
5. Medical Treatment Authorization - I give permission for FLEUR and its employees to seek and obtain medical treatment for my and/or my child (if participant is under 18) in the event of an accident or illness during the event. I accept responsibility for any resulting medical expenses.
6. Multi-State Governing Law - This waiver shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida. However, any incident or claim arising from participation at a specific event shall also be subject to the laws of the state in which the event takes place. I agree to submit jurisdiction in Florida or the state where the event occurs.
7. Multi-State Events & Governing Law - FLEUR is a Florida-based company hosting events in multiple states. These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida. However, for any incident, claim, or dispute arising from participation in a specific event, the laws of the state in which the event is held shall also apply where required.
8. Acknowledgement - By completing registration and signing below, I certify that (1) I have read and understand this Waiver & Release. (2) I voluntarily agree to all policies and terms stated above. (3) I am the legal guardian signing on behalf of the participant if under 18. (4) I accept all risks associated with participation. (The full Terms & Conditions also apply).
